Hunters
provide us with deer and cariboo skins.
We then proceede to clean and prepare these skins according to traditions,
as Montagnais ancestors from Northern Coast of Quebec used to do.
It is important to know that we do not hunt in order to have skins
but, on the opposite, we use every part that cannot be eaten, as
amerindians have done of all time.
No waste is also a way of honouring
the animal who gave his life to feed Mankind. Thus, the strength
of the animal still lives through the traditionnal objects that
we create. (This is called the animal medecine`).
